This Musée rattan chair was already featured in the 1900 Maison Louis Drucker catalog. It accentuates the work of the rattan maker because there is no weaving. The clear rattan structure, Manila rattan, is covered with a thinner, more flexible rattan stem called Lounty, which forms very airy diamonds. The fastenings are in dark leather, highlighting the honey color of the rattan. Everything here is natural: the rattan and the leather, which makes the chair sensitive to prolonged exposure to humidity. It’s important to bring it in during wet seasons. Light but robust, comfortable and stackable, the vintage look adds a touch of romance to your decor.

Furniture with a rattan structure is classified as “semi-outdoor,” meaning it can be placed outdoors under a shelter that strictly protects it from rain, except near bodies of water (seas, lakes, rivers).
